Required Skillsets:

Technical

Solid foundation in maths and statistics.

Teamwork

All our work involves working closely as a team, this skillset is essential and either proof of previous teamwork or a qualification that reflects your ability will be required.

Communications

You must be  a great communicator. Communicating hidden data insights within datasets requires an above average ability to provide visualisations that are interactive for the end user.

Business Skills

The ability to understand a particular business model and bring contextual understanding to the data analysis.

Tools

In depth knowledge of Hadoop, mySQL is necessary with a basic understanding of HP Vertica Analytics Platform and a visualisation platform such as Tableau is required.

Purpose:

To expand our market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Duties:

  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Identifies potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Position:

Initially as a freelancer with prospects for full time. The position can be based in Bournemouth, UK or as a mobile worker.
